Several months ago, RISE was tasked by the USM Vice President for Student Affairs, Dr. Joe Paul, with conducting and analyzing a comprehensive campus climate survey. One of the concerns was related to the climate for LGBTQ students at USM. As a result, Dr. Kamden Strunk, along with graduate student researcher Joy Suggs, has produced a research update on findings from the climate survey, specific to results about LGBTQ students. This short report can be accessed below. We anticipate a full, comprehensive report being released in the Spring of 2015.
